KUWAIT CITY (IRNA) -- Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki conferred with Kuwaiti senior officials here Friday.

Mottaki who is visiting Kuwait heading a delegation to express condolences to Kuwaiti government and nation on demise of late Sheikh Saad Abdullah al-Salem al-Sabah, former Kuwait Emir, met with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah on the sidelines of the mourning ceremony and talked privately with the Emir for 30 minutes.
He also talked with Sheikh Nasser al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Kuwait's Court Minister, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah during his short visit to Kuwait.
